Originally from the Bay Area in Northern California, Rebecca has experience working and interning for multiple conservative campaigns, elected officials and political groups. She was first introduced to the importance of democracy and America's constitutional republic by her mother, who brought her to campaigns as a child. While a student at California State University, Chico, she helped maintain the social media accounts for the Butte County Republican Party and interned for Congressman Wally Herger. She also worked on a blog profiling local businesses in downtown Chico to help highlight the importance of local businesses to Chico's economy. After graduating in 2011 with Bachelor of Art's degrees in Journalism: Option in Public Relations and German, Rebecca moved to Washington, DC where she interned for Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers and received a Paralegal Studies Certificate from Georgetown University: School of Continuing Studies. Rebecca moved in 2014 to Austin, Texas be closer to her family and continued to be active in conservative politics, including helping with TX State Rep. Tony Dale's campaign. Outside of politics, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, watching baseball, photography and traveling to new places.
